Most of the later puzzles will have you scratching your head, wondering how to make it work, and many of them will have you striving to figure out how to reliably manipulate your environment, since most of the changes you bring about you do so simply by looking at the object to change. (The first door opens when you look at it, the second closes when you look at it, so you have to walk thru the first, turn around, then back through the second, for example.)I recommend this game. It's short (especially on replay), but it's a good $20 value, no question there.. Firstly, I'd like to say that the price the developer is asking for this title is astounding. The price of admission here is £15.99 for which you will be granted access to two and half hours of boring, uninspired, simple puzzles while being forced to listen to the headache inducing protagonist that just doesn't know when to shut up. Pneuma: Breath of Life does have some nice visuals but that's about the only thing going for it. I purchased this game from eBay UK for the grand total of £0.99 and I wouldn't recommend paying any more for it.. Extremely short, simple puzzles, unpolished graphics and a story that has been told better in other games. Not worth the 20 euro's price tag.. It's a puzzle game that bases almost solely on looking/not looking principle. The thing is, you have to either look at something or turn your head away. It's the weirdest puzzle game I have ever played. But it's not that bad. Taking into consideration the fact it has good graphics, supports VR, and currently costs as little as 50 cents - you should give it a go.. I bought this game to play it in VR, it recommends a GTX 970 for VR and I have exactly that, but it was far, far from fluid. The list price is €20, and it took me hardly 2 hours to finish this, that said I didn't get stuck very often on puzzles. I bought it in the Summer Sale 2015 for €6, and for that price it's not really an issue. I will not refund it, but for the asking price I would expect more polish. I'll list my pros and cons.Pros* Looks nice, lighting effects are spiffy, UE4 makes it look pretty* Puzzles are fairly varied and not too tricky, perhaps a bit easy, but a nice balance.* Information is discreet but well presented so you know your progress and can figure out what to do next.* Dialogue is interesting and adds some context, also indirectly hints at how to solve some puzzles which is nice.* Easy to run in VR, just run it and start a game and it's in direct mode on the DK2.* The ending is interesting, definitely unexpected by me, even if I did suspect something due to reading reviews.Cons* Lighting glitches, black panels that might go away, or not.* Runs worse than advertised, in VR I got judder with a GTX 970, and there is no real options to lower the graphics quality.* The boot menu is not in VR, it's on your monitor, you have to start an actual level before it goes into VR.* Reflections are used a lot, the problem in VR is that fake reflections are very easy to see, at least with so few probes as here.* Some puzzles include you standing on stuff while it moves, the physics can go bonkers in those cases.* As gaze is used a lot it would seem fitting for VR, but in VR I actually want to use my gaze just to look around, not to control stuff. It might seem like a logical control method, but for me it was less than comfortable.* Interacting with buttons requires me to look below it, this had me restart the game three times before I figured out how to interact with the first button, as I looked straight at it.* At one point there was no ambient sound at all, that was really spooky and took me out of the experience.* For being a VR ready title, some things are done with the camera which I doubt many appreciate. It's only at one point in the game, but some might find that jarring.* Way too short for the price asked, lasted me just about two hours.* This is a 12 GB download, I guess it's all the dialog, but it has to be possible to compress that better...I would only recommend this game if you get it in a sale, not for the current price.. The game is visually beautiful as well as deeply philosophical. The graphics are awesome and puzzles are really unique and fun to solve. The voice acting was a little bit annoying at first, but I kinda like it now. The only actual problem for some people may be the playtime for this price point, but not for me; I think it's really worth it. If you like clever puzzle games and beautiful graphics give this game a chance!Highly recommended!
